SERVICES
I offer a range of creative wellbeing programs designed to support emotional expression, connection, sensory engagement, and quality of life. My approach is warm, person‑centred, and grounded in many years of experience across aged care, dementia support, disability, mental health, and creative practice.
All programs include high‑quality materials, setup, pack‑down, and a calm, supportive presence.
ART THERAPY & CREATIVE WELLBEING PROGRAMS
Longer Creative Pathways (4, 6, or 8‑Week Programs)
For residents and adults who benefit from a deeper, more sustained creative process, I offer a series of longer programs. These are not recreational activities — they are therapeutic creative experiences designed to support emotional expression, sensory engagement, connection, and wellbeing.
Each session includes gentle reflection time, where participants can share a few words about their artwork, explore meaning, or offer a short poem or memory. This supports emotional wellbeing, identity, and connection within the group.
Creative Pathways include:
Scaffolded Printmaking & Painting A step‑by‑step exploration of mark‑making, colour, and layered imagery.
Seasonal Mixed Media (Four Panels) A calming, structured series inspired by the seasons.
Memorabilia Boxes A meaningful project using personal photos, imagery, and gentle storytelling.
Shadow Boxes Small expressive worlds created with objects, textures, and memories.
Four‑Panel Canvas Series A connected set of expressive or abstract canvases.
These pathways can be delivered as a 4‑week, 6‑week, or 8‑week series, depending on the needs and abilities of your group. The 6‑week option is ideal for deeper engagement and is the most commonly chosen format.
Individual Programs
Stories in Clay
A tactile, grounding clay‑based program that supports sensory engagement, memory, and emotional expression. Ideal for dementia care, high‑needs residents, and anyone who benefits from hands‑on, calming creative work.
Expressive Mixed Media
A vibrant, flexible program using paint, collage, drawing materials, and layered textures. Sessions can be calming or energising depending on the individual, offering residents a safe space to express emotions they may not have felt able to show — now or in the past.
Collage Touchstones
A gentle, reflective collage program exploring memory, identity, and personal meaning. Participants create small “touchstones” that hold stories, feelings, or moments from their lives.
Mandalas for Mindfulness
A structured yet creative program using circular forms, colour, and pattern to support focus, relaxation, and emotional regulation.
